Originally from Orlando, Florida and attended The University of Southern Mississippi for her B.A. degree in Psychology. She then graduated in 1998 from The University of Central Florida with a M.A. in Student Personnel and in 2007 with her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She has worked in the student development field since 1999.
Dr. Germayne Graham has been with the university since 2001. Dr. Graham joined LEAD Scholars in July, 2007 and was most recently a psychologist with the Counseling Center.
Tava has been at UCF since 2010. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for her B.A. in Women's and Gender Studies and B.S. in Communication Studies. She received her M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida. Within the LEAD Scholars Academy, Tava serves as the program coordinator for the Lead Out Loud Multicultural Leadership program and the Inspire Women's Leadership program.
An Ohio native, Mike received a dual B.A. degree in Spanish and Linguistics from Ohio University. Mike graduated in 2016 from Colorado State University with a M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and has worked in student leadership development since 2014. Mike serves as the Coordinator for the 3rd and 4th year leadership tracks, overseeing the Civic Engagement, Clinton Global Initiative University, and Undergraduate Research tracks.
DeeDee received her B.S. degree in Business Management from UCF in 2004. She is currently pursuing a M.A. in Career and Technical Education. She has worked at the university since 1995 and has been with Student Leadership Development for the past seven years.
Corey is originally from Cooper City, Florida and is a double alum from UCF. He received his BS in Social Science Education and MA in Higher Education from UCF and is currently working on his PhD in Higher Education from UCF. Corey truly does bleed black and gold. Within LEAD Scholars Corey teaches many of the required courses as well as advises the LEAD Student Association.
