Scholars Academy
My name is Mackenzie Gray, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Central Florida. I was born in raised in West Melbourne, Florida. I am majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Health Sciences with an aspiration of attending medical school and becoming a Pediatric Endocrinologist. As a member of the Lead Scholar program, I have been able to make a difference in helping others to see the importance of leadership and making a difference. My most cherished leadership opportunities include serving as my AFJROTC Unit Commander, High School Admissions Ambassador, and Youth Ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Throughout my first year at UCF, I have been an active member of the UCF Type One Club and will hold the office of Secretary for the 2024-2025 school year. I am looking forward to being a peer mentor this semester and working with first year students in the Lead Scholar Program.
