Scholars Academy
My name is David Polacek, I am from Melbourne, Florida. I am currently a sophomore at UCF, and I am majoring in mechanical engineering. I have a passion for designing and building engineering projects and tinkering with electronics. I am currently a member of the LEAD Scholars Academy as well as the Burnett Honors College. On campus I like to get involved by attending football and basketball games, participating in clubs, and volunteering. Some of my hobbies include golfing, hiking, 3D printing, video games, and cooking. I plan to graduate with my bachelor’s degree in spring 2027. After graduating, I hope to attend law school where I will specialize in patent law.
