Dr. Ryan Newton

Ryan joined FYE as the Director in March 2021. Prior to starting at UCF, Ryan spent the previous 10 years at the University of South Florida, where he worked in various roles in the Office of Orientation, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and the Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement while also serving as a member of the adjunct faculty in the Leadership Studies minor. Ryan is also a professional freelance songwriter and enjoys staying active and spending time in the beautiful Florida weather, attending sporting events, and serving as a volunteer for his fraternity.
