How are you involved in the UCF and Orlando community?

During my freshman year, I joined three organizations that have been the launch pad to reach for the stars at the university which include LEAD Scholars, Pi Beta Phi, and Student Government. With these three areas, it led me in leadership and gave me the platform to serve the student body and the greater Orlando Community.

Through my classes and guidance from professors and leadership at LEAD Scholars, I founded Green Greeks, which builds gardens behind fraternity and sorority houses to help battle food insecurity at college campuses. Now, I am the President of an organization with over 100 members that have implemented 9 gardens across campus to help with food security. Through my commitment to service, I served as the Newman Civic Fellow for the university as the top servant leader of over 68,000 students. Through being in Pi Beta Phi, I started as the Chair of Community Service to becoming the Vice President of Philanthropy raising thousands of dollars for literacy and coordinating service days at the Creative School. Through my time in Student Government, I began as a general member of a mentorship council, to running the mentorship council, to being the Director of Innovation, to being the Student Body Vice President. Our administration has brought scooters to campus, expanded gardens, hosted more cultural events, formed the greatest relationship between Student Government and Athletics to date, and many more initiatives to be accomplished in Spring 2020.

What are your goals after you graduate?

Currently, I am planning on attending law school with the hope of being an international or business lawyer.
